What we do..

On Friday 30th April 2010 the pupils, staff and some parents participated in a Total Respect Fitness Day. This was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, 'Mr Nasty' the sergeant major style fitness instructor and his deputy fairly kept us on our toes. The teachers thought it was all over after the first hour, only to be informed that that was just the warm up!! We had a quick 15 minute break to catch our breath and then we were back for some more. The music was pumping and we sang along at the top of our lungs whilst we threw some moves around the floor. No room for slacking, if caught not giving your all Mr Nasty made you give him 20 press-ups! After a much needed cool down and some stretches Mr Nasty spoke to us about Respect for others and our bodies. All in all everyone came away buzzing with energy and excitement and we fully intend to have another Fitness Day next year. The sponsorship money we received for the day came to approximately £1,126.85. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all who sponsored our pupils, the money raised will be a welcome boost to our school funds and shall be used wisely to benefit all. Hope to see you in September RESPECT!! Michele Megrath

Thank you so much for our fun-filled day.The children were enthusiastic from start to finish and joined in all the activities with gusto! We raised a staggering £1251.85 in sponsorship, enough for the children to go on a picnic to carnfurnock.I can heartily recommend "Mr Nasty" and his team to any school looking for a fund raising opportunity and a great experience for the children.
